Wellness: Oral-B® Professional Precision 1000 Rechargeable Toothbrush

I recently had the opportunity to try the Oral-B® Professional Precision 1000 Rechargeable toothbrush. One of the first things I noticed about the toothbrush was the compact size of the brushing area. This allows the brush to really fit into every little space. This also makes the Oral-B® Professional Precision 1000 an excellent toothbrush for children. Another one of the noticable features of this toothbrush is how easy it is to use. I think it would be a safe bet to say you could figure this one out, even without the very easy to understand instructions. The Oral B has three settings, sensitive, daily clean, and whitening. I used the daily clean setting, and I loved the way it cleaned my teeth and how slick and shiney they felt. I brush after every meal and take very good care of my teeth, so I know when they are clean. At least I thought so, until I used the Oral-B® Professional Precision 1000. This was the cleanest my teeth had ever felt, and I didn't experience any discomfory or irritation. The brushing technology, which comes from the oscillating, rotating and pulsating movements, provides a more effective clean you can feel with your tongue. The brush head even has a built in pressure sensor in order to avoid irritation if too much pressure is applied, and a timer to make sure you brush for the recomended amount of time.. I also like the fact that you can purchase inexpensive replacement brush heads. Oral B has always been my favorite manual toothbrush, now I have replaced it with the Oral-B® Professional Precision 1000. Proper dental hygiene is very important. Tooth decay and gum disease have been linked to heart attacks and heart disease."There are a lot of studies that suggest that oral health, and gum disease in particular, are related to serious conditions like heart disease," says periodontist Sally Cram, DDS, a spokeswoman for the American Dental Association.
